About the opportunity:
Reporting in through to the Quality and Innovation Division, the Quality Business Partner (QBP) will work in a collaborative and consultative manner with their relevant clinical Division and its key senior leaders. The Quality Business Partner role involves the key components:
- Maintain a safe environment for patients/self/colleagues and members of the public.- Escalate concerns regarding safety, quality and risk to an appropriate staff member.- Demonstrate the principles of: Person-Centered Care: Respect & Dignity, Information Sharing, Participation and Collaboration.- Provide support to health services staff in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality activities.- Support the Division's quality and safety governance structures and processes.- Provide timely and accurate datasets and reports as requested for governance committees and meetings.- Provide support to the Division to understand their quality and safety data and assist in the use of data to inform improvements.- Assist with the coordination of the audit framework as applicable to the Division and ensure adherence to action planning relating to audit results.- Provide support and contribute to quality improvement and risk management across the Division.- Provide support, advice, education and mentoring to staff on the tools and methods for quality improvement.- Provide support, advice, education and mentoring to the Division regarding accreditation and the national standards.- Ensure that risks around compliance with accreditation are identified and that appropriate actions are being put in place to ensure the Division is prepared for short notice accreditation at all times.

What you'll bring:
- A minimum of three years' experience in a senior leadership role (nursing, mental health or allied health) within a healthcare organisation- Clinical experience within Community Mental Health or Inpatient Mental Health Services (highly desirable)- Relevant tertiary health sciences qualification, or acceptable equivalent (essential)- Demonstrated understanding of the National Standards and experience in preparation for survey- Understanding and experience in quality improvement principles and practices (essential)- Experience in leading, managing or teaching a team- Experience in facilitating clinical risk management processes in a healthcare setting

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
