Our current estimating team is flat out, and we need an extra set of expert hands (and eyes for detail) to help us keep delivering the high-quality work we're known for.If you've got construction estimating experience in the carpentry space and you love seeing your numbers come to life on site, you'll fit right in.

That's why we offer flexibility, open communication, and a supportive team culture.What You'll Be DoingPreparing accurate, timely cost estimates for carpentry projectsPricing everything from 1st fix wall & floor framing, roof framing, truss roofing, decking, cladding, balustrading, shed conversions... right through to 2nd fix work like doors, architraves and skirtingLiaising with builders, suppliers, and our site teams to keep quotes realistic and achievableUsing job management/estimating software (we love Buildxact and Buildertrend – experience here will earn you brownie points)Staying across industry trends, materials, and methods so your numbers are always on pointAbout YouMust have construction/carpentry estimating experience – civil engineers without relevant industry estimating experience need not applyConfident in breaking down project scopes and quantitiesDetail-focused, organised, and not afraid to chase missing infoClear communicator with the ability to work alongside tradies, clients, and suppliersAble to manage multiple quotes at once without losing accuracyComfortable with job management software (Buildxact / Buildertrend preferred)Why You'll Love It HereStable, long-term role in a growing company – we're expanding, not replacingFlexible work arrangements – mix of office and some work-from-homeVariety of projects across both residential and commercialSupportive, family-oriented team that values your inputCompetitive hourly rate $40–$60 (negotiable for the right experience) Ready to join us?
