**Emergency Department Equipment Technician**
- ** Join a dynamic team and provide technical and clinical support to the staff and patients at the Royal Melbourne Emergency Department**:

- ** Part Time, ongoing position with various hours considered**:

- ** Based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital - City Campus**
- We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Emergency Department team. This is a Part Time ongoing position, working 64 hours per fortnight, based at Royal Melbourne Hospital - City Campus.

**Your new role**:

- Join a dynamic team and provide technical and clinical support to the staff and patients at the Royal Melbourne Emergency Department.
- Be a member of the ED multidisciplinary team who works collaboratively with ED Equipment Nurse and is an important part of the Leadership team.
- Ensure timely and cost effective acquisition of products, services and equipment for the ED, and provide necessary analysis and recommendations for the selection and evaluation of products, services and equipment.
- Serve as the central point of contact for communication and queries relating to equipment and consumables and be responsible for working with clinicians and other end users, manufacturers, distributors and other departments internal and external to the organization.

- A self-starter with an interest in change management, service provision and quality control who has exceptional organisational skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of communication skills both written and verbal.
- Possesses highly developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines.
- Initiative and self-confidence to work with mínimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- High level of reliability and professional conduct.
