About the Role
NES Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Equipment Technician to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safety compliance of medical equipment across a variety of healthcare settings. Your work will directly support frontline medical professionals in delivering quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, calibration and repairs on a range of medical equipment – including diagnostic, monitoring, and therapeutic devices
- Perform routine validation, servicing and repairs on sterilisation equipment
- Conduct electrical safety testing and ensure all equipment meets relevant compliance standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to medical staff regarding equipment usage and performance
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Medical Equipment Technician, Biomedical Engineer or Licensed Electrician interested in upskilling into the medical field
- Excellent electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities
- Great communication and interpersonal skills – able to engage confidently with healthcare professionals
- This role involves up to 50% travel to interstate, regional, and remote locations – supporting our valued clients across a variety of healthcare environments.
- Must be willing to obtain relevant checks if required – due to the nature of work at sensitive healthcare sites our technicians may be required to provide relevant checks - including Police/Criminal History Check, Drug & Alcohol Screening, and Working With Children (WWC) Checks
