Job Description
Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees (fortnightly).
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and organisational policies.
Maintain and update payroll records, including leave and superannuation contributions.
Assist with payroll reporting and reconciliation tasks as required.
Respond to payroll-related enquiries from staff and resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure seamless financial operations.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within payroll operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
3-5 years experience in Australian payroll processing within a professional setting.
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including superannuation and taxation.
Attention to detail and high-level accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle queries effectively.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Open to working a Thursday, Friday and Monday week (a must).
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
