We are currently seeking a **Diversity and Social Inclusion Manager **to provide leadership, management and coordination for the employment in Diversity and Social inclusion (Disability, Indigenous, Veterans) across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia on the Defence Base Services contract.

This Melbourne based full-time role will see you actively participating in company initiatives for Social, Disability, Indigenous, veterans and Diversity Employment and act as a contract representative on such issues when required.

**What you will be doing**:

- Assist in the development of the Diversity & Social Inclusion (Disability, Indigenous, Veterans) employment strategy for the SE /SA zones of the Defence Base Services Contract.
- Responsible for the project management and execution of the Diversity & Social Inclusion employment strategy plan.
- Disability
- Indigenous
- Veterans
- Long Term Unemployed & Vulnerable/Disadvantaged
- Other categories as identified from time to time
- Ensure agreements with employment providers are commercially sound, avoiding financial detriment or loss to the contract
- Work with Senior Leaders and EMOS Managers to ensure safe and durable employment and provision of duties for employees engaged through the plan.
- Liaise with People and Culture personnel on any employment and performance related matters.

**About you**:
You will also possess:

- Demonstrated knowledge of complex scalable client solutions leadership within an asset management and facilities management.
- Relevant experience within Disability Employment Sector highly desirable.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
- Relentlessly pursue our Safe for Life Philosophy and promote a caring culture
- Act as a role model for a positive SHEQ culture in the workplace; encourage people managers and team leaders in their business to do the same.

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
