The Labour Hire Authority **(LHA**) protects Victorian workers from exploitation and improves transparency and integrity in the labour hire industry by regulating businesses that provide or use labour hire services. LHA licences labour hire providers, monitors and enforces compliance, and supports providers, hosts and workers to understand and comply with their legal obligations**.**

Established to administer the _Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018_ (Vic) (**LHL Act**), LHA is an independent agency whose work is wholly funded by licence fees from labour hire businesses. Since 2019, LHA has expanded its program of industry engagement, compliance and enforcement, growing its small and dedicated team to around 120 staff and establishing a strong track record.

LHA employees are offered hybrid and flexible working arrangements in accordance with Victorian Public Service and LHA policies. Our offices are located in Melbourne CBD and Bendigo.

**About the position**

The People and Culture Business Partner will deliver through coaching, education and both formal and informal capability building of their client portfolio. They will advocate People and Culture services including talent acquisition; health, safety and wellbeing; diversity, equity and inclusion; employment and industrial relations matters, market the People and Culture team and be a champion of the LHA People Strategy.

**About you**
- Experience in a People & Culture generalist Business Partnering role and exposure across a broad range of people specialist functions, such as Workplace Relations, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition and/or Health & Safety
- High level case management and employee relations skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment dealing with competing priorities
- Effective communicator and listener, be able to build and maintain good relationships with our stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
