The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, bringing strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach to enhancing site quality and food safety performance.The role is a permanent night shift position working 10pm – 6am, Sunday to Thursday, based at our Orchard Hills site.What you'll be responsible for :Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, audit readiness, and compliance with quality standards by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the site's Food Safety and Quality Management System under the guidance of the Senior Quality and Food Safety Manager and Supervisor.Supporting the implementation and enhancement of site-wide GMP practices.Designing, delivering, and supporting training programs related to food safety and quality systems.Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits.Participating in HACCP reviews and managing food safety plans.Handling non-conforming raw materials and finished goods.Investigating consumer complaints and reporting on findings and corrective actions.Reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Providing technical support and guidance to the production team to ensure compliance.Supporting the commissioning and setup of online and testing equipment.Leading data trend analysis to support root cause investigations and troubleshooting issues in operations related to quality concerns.What you'll bring to the role?
A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Science, or a related field.At least two years' experience in a food safety or quality assurance role.Practical knowledge and application of HACCP principles.Experience conducting internal audits.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Exceptional time management, organizational, and planning skills.What can you expect in return?
