Hotel Operations Manager Job OpportunityJob Title: Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced hotel operations manager to oversee the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nightly Operations Management: Ensure excellence in overnight service aligned to InterContinental Sydney service standards.
  • Guest Relations Management: Manage guest relations, own and resolve any complaints or issues that arise.
  • Anticipating Guest Needs: Anticipate guest needs, resolve escalated issues promptly, and ensure service excellence.
  • Financial Transactions and Reports: Conduct night audits, ensuring financial transactions and reports are accurate.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of all hotel guests and staff by conducting regular property checks.
  • Front Office Support: Support the front office, ensuring exceptional service and efficiency in check-ins, check-outs, and guest queries.
  • Emergency Situations: Manage emergency situations, including medical issues, fire alarms, or security concerns.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Extensive experience in hotel front office operations, ideally in a leadership role.
  • Team Development: Strong skills in team development, coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Operational Oversight: Familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and strong operational oversight.
  • Mentorship: A proactive approach to mentoring and supporting team performance.
  • Australian Working Rights: Full Australian Working rights with no restrictions.
