Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
An exciting opportunity exists for suitably qualified and experienced Environmental Coordinator to join our Snowy Hydro 2.0 team. This dynamic role will see you developing and implementing the framework to ensure that all environmental management obligations under the relevant deeds, planning approval and any other statutory obligations are managed and delivered for the project.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
Drive the implementation of the environment strategy to achieve outcomes and manage risks

Manage tenure arrangements and update/modify as required

Developing and implementing a project environmental reporting matrix

Review general correspondence and EPC Management plans

Represent the Snowy 2.0 team in variety of external facing forums

Working alongside site Environment Officers to manage and monitor processes

Ensure understanding and compliance with the projects environmental management requirements

**We are looking for someone with**:
A Bachelor's degree with Environmental specialisation or other related discipline

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Experience working with regulatory authorities is favourable

Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Knowledge of (and ensuring compliance to) environmental legislation

Demonstrated high attention to detail, with the ability to be proactive and goal oriented

Excellent time management and ability to adapt quickly to change
