This hands-on role combines practical on-the-job training with one day per week at TAFE, where you'll gain the skills and qualifications to thrive.
Responsibilities
Assist in maintenance of Council's high profile turf wickets, ovals and sports fields to meet service agreements and schedules.
Inspect conditions, provide recommendations, address minor issues, and conduct risk assessments.
Operate equipment and participate in training; support team with various duties as required.
Work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
NSW Record of School Achievement (RoSA).
Current Provisional or Unrestricted C Class Drivers Licence.
Demonstrated ability to undertake formal study of sports turf management.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range commences at $36,800 (T3 at 17 years of age) or $43,024 (T4 at 18 years or completed HSC) + 12% super.
