Overview

Based at Leslie Street Depot, Roselands. This hands-on role combines practical on-the-job training with one day per week at TAFE, where you'll gain the skills and qualifications to thrive.



Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintenance of Council's high profile turf wickets, ovals and sports fields to meet service agreements and schedules.
  • Inspect conditions, provide recommendations, address minor issues, and conduct risk assessments.
  • Operate equipment and participate in training; support team with various duties as required.
  • Work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays.


Qualifications
  • NSW Record of School Achievement (RoSA).
  • Current Provisional or Unrestricted C Class Drivers Licence.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake formal study of sports turf management.


Salary and Benefits
  • Salary range commences at $36,800 (T3 at 17 years of age) or $43,024 (T4 at 18 years or completed HSC) + 12% super.
