The role

Greenkeeper (Sports Turf Management) Apprentice to join CBCity. You will assist in the preparation and maintenance of Council's high-profile turf wickets, ovals and sports fields. This hands-on role combines practical on-the-job training with one day per week at TAFE, where you'll gain the skills and qualifications to thrive. You'll inspect conditions, provide recommendations, address minor issues, conduct risk assessments, operate equipment, participate in training, and work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays. You'll support the team with various duties as required. This position will be based at Leslie Street Depot, Roselands.

You will have
  • NSW Record of School Achievement (RoSA)
  • Current Provisional or Unrestricted C Class Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake formal study of sports turf management
Salary

The salary range commences at $36,800 (T3 at 17 years of age) or $43,024 (T4 at 18 years or completed HSC) plus 12% super.
