Hays is seeking a HR and Payroll Officer to join our internal Payroll team in our Sydney office.

Our Hays Sydney office is seeking a full time permanent HR and Payroll Officer. This role commences immediately. This role involves providing administrative support to our internal payroll team.

**Your new role**
- Responsible for the administration of all new employees
- Assist with salary reviews
- Responsible for updating employees' tax and banking details
- Manage employee attendance reports on internal payroll system
- Manage the receipt and input of medical certificates
- Responsible for conducting leave reconciliations
- Responsible for all Superannuation administration
- Manage the contract and code of conduct audit process, following up with employees, when required
- Responsible for all internal payroll filing
- Responsible for the creation of all new starter folders and archive files of terminated employees
- Support Internal Payroll Manager with reporting, when required

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates discretion at all times
- Demonstrated Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
