**ABOUT THE COMPANY.**

Our Client based in Northern Sydney is looking for a Payroll Officer to assist with the increase in workload. Your team is supportive and promotes a high level of teamwork and communication - you will be expected to attend the office full-time (access to Council's RDO Program).

**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

Immediate start. 6-month opportunity. You will be a part of the Human Resources team, and your responsibilities will not only be limited to processing the pay-run for Council. You will be expected to be agile in your skillsets, with a foundational knowledge of HR processes.

**DUTIES.**
- Process payroll functions (end-to-end)
- Process weekly payroll for permanent, temporary and casual staff
- Calculations, taxation and reconciliations as required
- Be involved in recruitment and other responsibilities of the HR team

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in payroll processing or HR (preferred)
- Approximately 3 years' experience in a payroll position
- Able to adapt your foundational payroll skills in a new environment
- High level of attention to detail & simple problem solving skills
- Strong work ethic
