  • Manage end-to-end payroll cycles using MYOB, Deputy and related systems.
  • Carry out all payroll calculations including overtime, allowances, loadings, leave, terminations, and long service leave.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, Awards, and taxation requirements, staying up to date with regulatory developments.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and maintain payroll reports and records, including STP, PAYG, Superannuation, Government entitlements, and payroll tax.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and queries, providing clear resolutions.
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and contribute to continuous payroll improvements, including end-of-month and year-end processes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Rosters, and Management to ensure seamless payroll compliance.
  • Support and educate managers and employees on payroll matters.
  • Provide general support to the HR function as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years' practical experience in end-to-end payroll, including STP2, superannuation, and Award/EA interpretation.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems such as Excel, SAP, MYOB, Deputy and SuccessFactors (advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude, who works well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Sound understanding of payroll compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • High level of discretion with proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute across broader HR responsibilities.

Why Join MindChamps?

  • Competitive salary
  • Staff childcare discounts of up to 75%.
  • Supportive, collaborative, and values-driven team culture.
  • Career pathway into Human Resources with ongoing professional development.
  • Part of a supportive and high-performing team.
