- Support audits, compliance checks, and contribute to continuous payroll improvements, including end-of-month and year-end processes.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Rosters, and Management to ensure seamless payroll compliance.
- Support and educate managers and employees on payroll matters.
- Provide general support to the HR function as required.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years' practical experience in end-to-end payroll, including STP2, superannuation, and Award/EA interpretation.
- Knowledge of payroll systems such as Excel, SAP, MYOB, Deputy and SuccessFactors (advantageous but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude, who works well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Sound understanding of payroll compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- High level of discretion with proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute across broader HR responsibilities.
Why Join MindChamps?
- Competitive salary
- Staff childcare discounts of up to 75%.
- Supportive, collaborative, and values-driven team culture.
- Career pathway into Human Resources with ongoing professional development.
- Part of a supportive and high-performing team.
At MindChamps, confidentiality, teamwork, and integrity are paramount. You'll play a key role in ensuring our people are supported—so they can focus on giving children the best start in life.
