The Deployment Technician is responsible for assisting with all aspects of device configuration activities.
They help to deliver exceptional on-site support and are responsible for assisting staff and students at our clients' universities with level 1 tech support.
Carry out all aspects of device configuration activities including device imaging and software deployment and installation of specific components.
Perform stock picking, asset application of device, packaging and data entry.
Opening up the TechBar, assisting staff and students with walk-up level 1 tech support.
Assist with deploying, imaging, and decommissioning of bulk computer spaces.
Undertake onsite delivery and deployment activities including physical unboxing of goods, device setup, software transfer and configuration as well as cable management.
What you'll bring?
Currently studying or completed a Certificate or higher course related to Information Technology.
Passionate about everything IT and have an above-average understanding of MacOS and WindowsOS.
Experience in a fast-paced customer service, retail and/or operations role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent customer service skills.
Strong professional attitude and conduct and ability to work well within a team.
What else do you need to apply?
Travel on-site to our clients' sites on the Gold Coast.
Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
