Primary responsible for managing the credit risk performance of the lending portfolio. This includes credit portfolio monitoring and assessing trends, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. The position is to support the strategic direction of 2nd defense line based on Bank's overall risk appetite and strategy
Overall Responsibilities:
Portfolio Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze the performance of the lending portfolio
Track key metrics such as loan delinquencies, defaults, policy exceptional approval, etc.
Coordinate to conduct regular credit risk review on the whole lending portfolio
Conduct credit risk & climate change risk stress testing to evaluate the impact of different economic scenarios on the portfolio.
Credit Risk Management:
Establish and update internal credit risk related policies, guidelines, and thresholds based on changing market conditions.
Conduct hindsight review and challenges from the 2nd defence line
Undertake large exposure policy review, pre-measurement and post-monitoring management
Work with business unit to review credit risk limits and other portfolio risk indicators.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Coordinate various stakeholders in compiling relevant data
Use data analytics to assess portfolio trends, performance, and customer behavior.
Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance for senior management and stakeholders.
Perform data checking and validation and ensure submission on time both internally and externally
Compliance & Regulation:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to credit lending
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in banking regulations and Group polices and review relevant policies as necessary.

Required Skills/Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably banking or professional services
Professional qualification such as CFA, FRM or similar credentials
Good knowledge in credit risk management and understanding of relevant regulatory requirements
Experience working with large data sets and using analytical tools
Excellent verbal and written language ability in both English and Mandarin
Independent, good communication skills and able to influence stakeholders
Candidates must have full Australian working rights to be considered.
