**Position Summary**

**Allied Health Educator**
- Based at Osborne Park
- 12 Month Fixed Term - 76 hours per fortnight
- $44.41 to $50.73 per hour (plus the ability to salary Package)

**The Opportunity**
- We are currently seeking an experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist Educator to join our Group Capability team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and learning to deliver professional development excellence for our clinical teams so we can deliver on Best Care goals and actions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- If you are looking to utilise your experience or grow from an Allied Health team member to an Educator, we have the perfect opportunity
- Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manual Task Training,Induction Delivery, Supporting specialist services by Research, Design and develop programs to support this multidisciplinary group.

**Allied Health Educator**
- This role will work closely with Staff Development Nurses, Educators, Learning Service Coordinator and Manual Task Consultant to forecast training, coaching and mentoring opportunities to support the capability of training programs. This position will work under the direction of the Learning Service co-ordinator and is part of the capability development team. You'll have a chance to get creative, delivering engaging and memorable training experience, support the Learning Design Team, put your analytical skills to the test when you look at the gaps and learning needs within your portfolio and step up when required to help shape and implement change.

**About You**
- To be considered for this role, you must meet the following selection criteria:

- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
- Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading clinical practice improvement.
- Proven experience in facilitation and presenting to groups
- Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement, problem solving and negotiating.
- Demonstrated abilities to lead, support, coach and mentor
- Experience developing and mentoring clinicians within portfolio area.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Well-developed communication skills
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Capacity to design and deliver flexible learning strategies and education packages.
- Experience in using evaluation of education programs and initiatives to ensure training is delivered appropriately and effectively and to enable the identification of opportunities for improvement.
- Experience planning, coordinating and delivering education across multiple sites.
- A commitment to upholding the values and behaviour expected of Silver Chain Group employees.
- Experienced facilitator of manual tasks training, deeming workplace competency for direct care staff.
- Based on Silver Chain Group Policy and State Government Directions, you will be required to provide evidence of your COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster requirements, or evidence of a medical exemption, to be considered for employment with Silver Chain._

**Selection Criteria**

Essential: Physio or OT Experience in delivering and developing training material
