Add expected salary to your profile for insightsRandall Group Construction and Management Pty Ltd are seeking a qualified, skilled and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team with an immediate start.Job Summery:Your role will be dynamic, with no two days being the same, as you handle a range of tasks.
We offer a variety of work, from renovations, maintenance, and new installations over a variety of environments from Residential and Commercial.
With some working away from home opportunities on occasion.Key Responsibilities:Laying various types of tiles on external and internal walls and floors to provide protective and decorative finishes, efficiently and safely according to regulations.All aspects of waterproofing, preparing wall and floor surfaces, prepare tile bed/screed to appropriate falls, applying adhesives and setting tiles into position, ensuring accurate waterfall, alignment and spacing.
Along with grouting, sealing and cleaning completed tiling work, as per Australian standardsAbility to read and understand plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out workCarefully cutting tiles to fit around obstacles and edges using appropriate equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime.Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for and properly stored.Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure job requirements are met on time.Continuously monitor and assess equipment, to prevent issues before they arise.Ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team, communicating positively with office and other team members.The successful candidate must have the following criteria:- Current Australian Driver's licence- Current construction industry white card- Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling- Have or be able to obtain a Criminal Police Check- Have or be able to obtain a Working with Children Check- Must have a good eye for preparation & detail- Willingness to follow protocol and take direction whilst also showing initiative- Able to work in a fast-paced environmentWork Vehicle and pay are negotiable for the right applicantWe are willing to assist with relocation costs for the right applicantAbout Us:Randall Group Construction and Management Pty Ltd, are a construction and management company based in Inverell, Northern NSW.
