Job Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of Facilities Services Officer at our institution.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based in Rozelle (NSW). As our new Facilities Services Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day cleaning, waste operations and sustainability initiatives at our Rozelle Campus.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming space for our students and staff. This includes ensuring sparkling interiors, well-stocked amenities and tidy outdoor areas.

The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday, with the ability to negotiate your schedule after appointment.

This role attracts a 15% penalty on top of your regular salary for any shift outside of our regular hours of 7am – 6pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning duties in all buildings, including floors, walls, toilets, showers and kitchens.
  • Assist with the distribution and replenishment of consumable items such as hand sanitizers and wall-mounted wipe dispensers.
  • Clean and maintain external areas such as courtyards, paths and walkways.
  • Transport and dispose of all general waste, paper, cardboard, recycling and controlled waste wheelie bins.
  • Assist with portering/movement/transportation of furniture and equipment.
