Your new role as Ground Training Coordinator based at our Melbourne Airport West Training Centre will see you coordinating the ground training for pilots and cabin crew. You will be responsible in ensuring all ground courses are carried out effectively and efficiently in compliance with company policy and procedures and the relevant legislation. You will plan and book all training facilities, simulators, classrooms and requirement in support of the training plans, in a timely and cost-effective manner. Additionally, you will be responsible in monitoring aircrew ground training courseware via the company's Learning Management System.
Reporting to the Training Office Team Leader, key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the daily running of the ground training for aircrew ensuring utilisation and on-time training delivery
- Ensure all ground training is planned and rostered to comply with CASA legislation, company operations, manuals and ground training processes and systems
- Liaise with the broader Tech Crew and Customer Experience Cabin departments to ensure all ground training requirements are achieved and coordinated efficiently and effectively
- Assist the Training Office Team Leader and Ground Training Manager with administrative support, to effectively plan ground training, instructor rosters and data of ground training courses
- Continue to network and build on current business partnerships with external companies and contacts in a professional manner
- Monitor and manage implemented cost saving measures daily to ensure that any operational changes are actioned accordingly
- Provide Learning Management System administration support, i.e. enrolling and reporting completion.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following skills/experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in administration and customer service roles or similar
- High level attention to job priorities, details and time management
- Demonstrated confidence in using Microsoft Office suite programs
- Proactive organisational skills and confidence to work autonomously
- Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Highly motivated with a learning mindset
- Aviation experience
