Ground Training Coordinator

The Ground Training Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective delivery of ground training for pilots and cabin crew at our Melbourne Airport West Training Centre. This position involves coordinating ground courses to ensure timely completion, compliance with company policy and procedures, and adherence to relevant legislation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and booking all necessary training facilities, simulators, classrooms, and requirements in support of the training plans. Additionally, they will monitor aircrew ground training courseware via the company's Learning Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily ground training operations, ensuring optimal utilization and on-time delivery
  • Ensure ground training is planned and rostered in compliance with CASA legislation, company operations, manuals, and ground training processes and systems
  • Liaise with Tech Crew and Customer Experience Cabin departments to achieve efficient and effective ground training coordination
  • Assist the Training Office Team Leader and Ground Training Manager with administrative support, planning ground training, instructor rosters, and data management for ground training courses
  • Continuously network and build partnerships with external companies and contacts in a professional manner
  • Monitor and manage cost-saving measures daily to ensure operational changes are implemented accordingly
  • Provide Learning Management System administration support, including enrollment and reporting completion

  • Aviation experience
