**Job Title:** Engineering Team Lead

Blackbaud is hiring a team lead to cultivate and lead engineering teams that develop, test, deploy, and maintain our products.
">
This role will work to establish and adhere to best practices, identify critical gaps in development processes, create and own strategic projects, and empower teams to deliver results through efficient software engineering methods.
">
The ideal candidate will lead by example and be an agent of innovation while inspiring those around them. They will develop employees through goal setting and coaching techniques, identifying areas for growth and improvement, and implementing effective solutions.

Key responsibilities include leading agile development environments, recruiting and cultivating highly engaged teams, managing performance through regular check-ins, and partnering with Product Management to establish product objectives and prioritize team backlogs.

We are looking for a leader with 3+ years of experience managing software development teams in an agile environment. The ideal candidate should have a history of delivering successful large-scale projects from inception to release, and experience working with complex product portfolios across multiple teams.

Candidates should also have demonstrable experience in software engineering best practices, including design patterns, decoupled architectures, test-driven development, and CI/CD pipelines. A strong understanding of cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure or AWS) and SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models is also preferred.
