Senior Software Engineering Manager Role

About the Job

We seek an accomplished engineering leader to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Strategic planning and execution of software development projects
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing among engineers
  • Cross-functional coordination with other teams or platforms to resolve complex delivery issues
  • Ensuring adherence to rigorous code quality, testing, and security standards
  • Partnership with product managers to deliver innovative software solutions

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Proven experience managing multiple software engineering teams
  • A strong technical background preferably in Java-based technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team with a proven track record of delivering complex engineering initiatives
  • Product company experience with expertise in building great products within Agile environments
  • A computer science education or equivalent professional experience
