Job Title: Senior Cost Planner
Our organization is seeking a seasoned
Senior Cost Planner
to support the front-end of our business unit by managing tenders, pricing work and developing key relationships with clients and quantity surveyors (QS) to identify future opportunities.
Manage and create rated cost plans for multiple tenders while providing high-level cost planning advice to potential clients.
Assess preliminary estimates and forecasts against construction programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Develop and implement strategies to secure suitable trade coverage for each tender, leveraging a good understanding of the subcontractor trade market.
Provide statistical and analytic breakdowns for each tender on trade coverage/risk and opportunities/value management.
Manage and coordinate tender submissions and returnable schedules within stipulated time frames.
Requirements:
Hold a degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
Possess 10 years of post-graduate experience working for a reputable head contractor from a Tier 1/2 background.
Demonstrate expertise in delivering tenders within the building sector across New South Wales.
Exhibit a friendly and approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
