This role is an integral part of the Operations team working with the Recruitment consultants across the Sydney, Adelaide & Melbourne regions.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Delivering a consistently high level of business operations support to both internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, and highly demanding environment
- Ensuring proactive, solution-oriented delivery of operations relating to the life cycle of our contractors.
- This spans onboarding and payroll through to off-boarding, administration of contractor engagements, and contractor care enquiries.
- Partnering with the Recruitment consultants to ensure accurate contracting, payroll and billing processes are executed efficiently and in alignment with required timelines.
- Ensuring legal compliance with relevant local legislation Partnering with key stakeholders to identify and implement operational efficiencies and drive continuous improvements
- Building a culture of ownership, accountability and open communication Working with internal and external stakeholders to solve complex problems and issues, as required
- Ensuring business risk is mitigated by facilitating thorough compliance monitoring and adherence to sound practices.

**Required skills and experience for this role**:

- This role is responsible for providing support to the Recruitment consultants by managing the end-to-end life cycle of our contractors working on client's engagements.
- At least 5 years' experience in Payroll, ideally within a Recruitment Agency
- Experience in Astute payroll management system would be highly regarded
- Fundamental understanding of Accounting and HR principles
- Intermediate to Expert level of Microsoft Excel/ Google Sheets - Formulas, Pivot Tables
- Experience providing outstanding customer experience Solution oriented approach, ability to work through issues and find solutions
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptionally detail orientated Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- A proven track record in formulating and delivering business process improvements Interest in learning and evolving our Recruitment Automation
- Capability to take on new tasks and interesting ad-hoc projects when required
