Kent is recruiting a Scaffolding Supervisor. In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing Construction, developing project-specific procedures based on the Kent Integrated Management System, managing, and supporting the construction activities of the following: Temporary Facilities, Earth, Piling, Civil trenching works, equipment, piping & structural installation, multidiscipline erection, equipment & module installation and leadership of construction activities for both Brown Fields and Green Fields work scope.**Role Responsibilities**
- Provide direction and support to the scaffolders through strong leadership, effective people management and training. development and competency skills assessments.
- Accurately record daily, all scaffolding activities to assist in the submission of job sheets and claims.
- Ensure that compliance is maintained, in particular, the working at height and scaffolding procedures.
- Provide direct support to leading hands overseeing the successful completion of daily site requirements, including prestart, labor dockets, take offs and the interpretation of contract and variation work.
- Develop and foster relationships with current client operations, FF team, and subcontractors.
- Ensure Construction activities are in compliance with KENT policies, standards, procedures, and commitments.
- Identify work that can be grouped and executed in parallel to optimize the schedule and efficiency of construction activities.
- Support the planning and execution of the construction-sequenced activities.
- Ensure the workforce is adequately trained, qualified, and competent in their roles and compliant with mandatory training.
- Coordinate staff, sub-contractors, labor, plant, and material deliveries on site.
- Provide technical and logístical support to sub-contractors.
- Assist with raising TQs, variations, and delay notices.
- Responsible for the quality aspects of the work within assigned areas and for ensuring all work is completed in accordance with the baseline schedule.
- Develop detailed daily and weekly work plans to allow sufficient time for job preparation.
- Ensure employees are instructed in and comply with all aspects of KENT Health Safety and Environment policy, site regulations, permit-to-work procedures & instructions, and client requirements.
