**The Role**:
**Your Impact**:
As a pivotal part of our IT team, you will:

- Oversee and manage the daily IT operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all IT systems and infrastructure for a team of 120 staff.
- Lead the helpdesk to ensure efficient response.
- Implement and maintain security frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, and DISP, ensuring compliance with defence industry standards.
- Ensure the secure handling and protection of classified information in accordance with defence-related IT requirements.
- Provide technical support and resolve IT issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Oversee network and system administration, ensuring reliable and secure IT infrastructure.
- Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Manage IT projects, from planning and implementation to monitoring and completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, conducting regular audits and assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, driving continuous improvement and innovation in IT practices.

**Who You Are**:

- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT management, particularly within defence-related environments.
- Thorough understanding of security frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, and DISP.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+; specialized certifications like CISA or NSTISSI 4011 are advantageous.
- Strong technical skills in network and system administration, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the capability to resolve issues quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaborating with internal teams and ensuring clear documentation.
