Information Records Management and Administration Officer.
A career-defining role awaits in our Program Executive Operations team within Land and Joint Warfare Division (LJW), located at Defence Science Technology Group Edinburgh Base.
Role OverviewThe APS5 PSO Information Records Management and Administration Officer will perform complex information records management work, procedural, operational, administrative and business support work within an integrated workforce.
- Coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistent to a work plan.
- Provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members.
- Engage with senior research staff and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.
This role will coordinate and perform information and records management activities in accordance with the Archives Act 1983, relevant legislative and Defence policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing security classified information material within Objective in accordance with Defence requirements.
- Advising on governance requirements and maintaining currency and integrity of information and records through Objective.
- Assisting or managing the organisation and completion of administrative tasks.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- A well-developed understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks.
- Knowledge of Defence's mission and policy requirements.
- Ability to engage with senior research staff and communicate with stakeholders.
