**Role Description/Criteria**

An exciting opportunity exists to welcome a new staff member to Annunciation. We are seeking the expertise of a Learning Diversity Leader/Intervention Teacher.

The Learning Diversity Leader plays a crucial role within a Catholic primary school, responsible for promoting inclusive education and supporting students with diverse learning needs. This role focuses on fostering a learning environment that accommodates and celebrates individual differences,, ensuring that every student can thrive academically, socially and spiritually. The Learning Diversity Leader collaborates closely with school staff, parents and external consultants to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with varying learning abilities and needs.

The position is a POL 2, 2 year contract appointment with an ongoing teaching position and future opportunity to extend tenure in this role.

an ability to, or willingness to, work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds

the willingness to adhere to Annunciation's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359

a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an up to date Criminal Record check.
