An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Capital Works Planning Coordinator to join Service Stream team
About the Role

Service Stream's Utilities division, partners with SA Water to deliver reactive, planned and capital maintenance across the metropolitan network. To enhance the performance of the network, this diverse role will see you provide technical and project management know-how, operating both in the field and office.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Adelaide - Hope Valley

Reporting Line: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the development and delivery of planned maintenance and projects works, providing technical and project management expertise, to improve the performance of SA Water's asset base. In collaboration with SA Water, Lendlease will coordinate and implement planned works. The role will be required to build close working relationships with the client.

This role is responsible for
- Manage allocated projects across major capital works, major land development, main relays, and extension, as well as new projects
- Attend site visits and pre-work investigations where required, undertaking effective and thorough investigations to identify the most appropriate and viable options of service delivery
- Prepare plans / maps of scheduled works; including isolation planning; customer and business impact.
- Attend site visits with contractors (SiD's), safety in design meetings
- Coordinate access to the networks for contractors, including permits, isolations, and disinfection
- Provide advice and technical information to your team and stakeholders in the operation and performance of the network
- Ongoing optimisation of resources, including team capacity for up-and-coming schedules and meetings.
- Provide expert operational response & support to incidents and emergencies that impact the delivery of the capital project
- Developing professional, effective working relationships with key stakeholders and SA Water

- Demonstrated experiencing in a project / planning function
- Qualification in engineering / construction or trade equivalent experience
- High level of business acumen and understanding of commercial practices
- A history of building productive and effective stakeholder relationships
- Possess analytical skills including proficiency in computer-based office systems.
- Ability to adapt and learn bespoke systems
- Possess and demonstrate excellent technical communication skills to a broad range of audiences
- Possess an understanding of HSEQ frameworks, and risk assessments/analysis.
- Full drivers' licence - essential.
