Reporting to the Area Manager, you will coordinate and lead a team of multi-disciplined trade-based personnel, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of project-based construction activities.This role is ideally suited to someone with a background in telecommunications, proven supervisory skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors while working alongside a great team of people in a collaborative and inclusive environment.What you'll be doing - A Day in the LifeIn this role, you will:Plan and prepare site works - including walk-outs, scoping and scheduling to make sure construction activities are well-organised and run smoothly.Lead and support teams on-site - working closely with subcontractors and colleagues to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.Collaborate and communicate - providing clear guidance, escalating issues when needed, and keeping clients and supervisors informed.Ensure safety, quality, and resources - overseeing HSE practices, checking work standards, and making sure materials and equipment are available when needed.About YouAttitude, willingness to learn and an ability to work collaboratively are the key traits required to make this role a success.If you don't tick all the boxes below, we would still love to hear from you:A relevant trade qualification with experience in a supervisory role.Telecommunications (Telstra/NBN) knowledge (advantageous).
Ability to read and interpret Telstra and NBN plans (advantageous).
Civil construction background (e.g., directional drilling, ploughing, open trenching).
