We're on the lookout for a driven and customer-focused Parts Advisor to step into a key frontline role – someone who thrives on problem-solving, builds strong relationships, and is ready to make a real impact every day.

Working closely with our service team and customers, you'll be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and delivering the right parts at the right time. From over-the-counter support to coordinating parts for workshop jobs and field service teams, you'll play a vital role in keeping machines, and business, moving.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your number one responsibility will be to provide an excellent service to our customers, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information in relation to all of their parts needs.

This is a full time, permanent position offering career growth and development opportunities. Reporting directly to the Branch Supervisor, you will work a 7/7 roster Monday to Sunday.

What a day typical day will look like:

  • Dealing with front counter enquiries, both face to face and over the phone
  • Locating Cat parts for customers and technicians
  • Following up and actioning outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns
  • System based parts interpreting using a variety of digital and print resources
  • Parts Warehousing tasks (receiving, order picking and dispatch)
  • Ensuring company accounts receivable processes are adhered to in relation to parts sales transactions
  • Assisting with the operation of display areas and stock cleanliness

ABOUT YOU

You will have a true passion for customer service, with a willingness and desire to learn and develop into being a Cat Parts Specialist.

To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and attributes:

  • Mechanical knowledge and a background in earthmoving and/or automotive is preferable
  • Exceptional communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Experience working on different kinds of systems/databases
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products (preferred but not essential)
