About the Role:

We are seeking a Facility Supervisor to provide support services to vulnerable individuals in our community. This is a permanent, part-time position based at our facility.

This role involves providing after-hours support and ensuring the smooth running of the property. The successful applicant will have the ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to team activities such as debriefings and program planning.

  • Undertake tenancy management functions;
  • Complete and/or arrange cleaning and maintenance;
  • Work effectively with tenants to maintain their health and wellbeing;
  • Provide assistance and preparation of meals;
  • Provide limited on-call assistance to tenants outside working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and secure living environment for tenants;
  • Maintain accurate records of tenancy and property information;
  • Assist with meal preparation and provision of meals;
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve tenant satisfaction and engagement;
  • Work effectively with external agencies and services to provide support to tenants.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Science or related field;
  • Experience in facility or tenancy management;
  • Safe Food Handling certificate or willingness to undertake training;
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and knowledge of external support services for tenants;
  • High interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
  • Sound computer skills;
  • Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues.
