The Inbound Manager will oversee operators across the inbound/production staging operation whilst also working hands-on across the warehouses to achieve daily targets. They must provide leadership in relation to the planning, output and quality of daily receiving/production staging ensure they and their team uphold health, safety and food safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inbound Warehousing**
- Manage purchase order receiving and stock put-aways on time, both physically and digitally within the agreed time frames
- Provide clear, accurate and timely information on short and/or inaccurate deliveries
- Ensure the swift movement of stock from the production facility into appropriate warehouse, both physically and digitally
- Ensure that stock returned from any 3rd party packers or warehouses are processed digitally and physically in a timely manner
- Pick the required TO's and replenish the Online and Corporate Wholesale bays according to the agreed schedule
- Work with procurement to create a robust delivery schedule that meets the requirements of the business

**Inventory**
- Plan and conduct weekly cycle counting, including variance investigation
- Complete stock and variance investigations and drive completion of follow up actions, working with relevant stakeholders
- Maintain the accuracy of the system ensuring that bin transactions are completed as required
- Manage bin locations, physically and digitally, in conjunction with the Outbound Warehouse Manager
- Working with the planning team support the root cause investigation of DIFOT failures
- Conduct root cause investigations of all dated and damaged stock
- Manage WIP across the site ensuring it is stored correctly and lot controlled

**Safety**
- Maintain a safe, tidy and organised work environment
- Educate and support the team on the use of all control points, equipment, and other resources
- Ensure anyone in the warehouse, including warehouse operators, other Koko Black staff or external contractors use correct PPE, follow safe work practices and adhere to safety requirements in the warehouse
- Report all safety incidents and hazards via the system and to the appropriate manager

**Quality**
- Ensure that any warehouse specific allergen policies and procedures are adhered to
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practises (GMP) to achieve optimal product quality
- Maintain a tidy and organised work environment
- Report any non-conformance incidents to the appropriate manager
- Report suspected specification and process deviations to QA
- Support embedding food safety culture and adhere to HACCP standards

**People and Organisation**
- Create and maintain a healthy and motivated work environment within the team.
- Role model adhering to standards and policies
- Communicate training needs to the appropriate manager

**Management and Leadership**
- Support and motivate teams in achieving daily targets and goals.
- Appropriately manage overtime as required
- Monitor individual performances, providing ongoing feedback and support
- Seek to resolve any issues and conflict within the team, escalate issues as appropriate
- Train and support new team members and provide feedback on a regular basis
- Actively listen to concerns and potential opportunities raised by team members escalate as required
- Address any non-compliance matters immediately, and where applicable report them to the appropriate manager

- Work with Warehouse Manager and wider team to continually improve processes
- Provide feedback on ways to increase efficiency, improve quality or reduce risk in your area
- Take steps to reduce waste and suggest process improvements
