**The Opportunity**
Babies are born with remarkable abilities to communicate yet sometimes the social and communication skills of babies can develop differently to what we typically expect. The Kids Research Institute Australia's Inklings is a new program for babies aged 6-18 months who are showing early differences in their social interaction and communication development.
It was developed from decades of research, both in the UK and Australia, and supports parents of babies who may be showing some early differences in the way they communicate and interact.
This position is dedicated to assisting in the design, development, implementation, and trial of a playgroup-style Inklings model for caregivers and infants. The role involves collaborating with external partners, including the Early Years' Partnership and Child and Parent Centres in Western Australia, across all phases of the program, from initial planning to pilot testing.
Some of your duties for this position will include:
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Contribute to the project planning, liaising with appropriate team members and stakeholders.
- Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Organise meetings and workshops, including but not limited to the preparation of agenda and minutes for the project team, working groups and steering committee. Ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Participate and contribute to strategic planning processes.
**About You**
If you are passionate about making a difference in a child's life, this may be the role for you.
The key to your success will be dependent on the following:
- Qualification in education, early childhood, health, community services, project management and/ or demonstrated experience in project coordination.
- Highly developed project planning and coordination skills.
