We are searching for anApplications Engineer II, APAC based in Sydney, Australia to support HPR's clients by solving technically complex problems for some of the largest financial institutions in the world.
Headquartered in Needham, Massachusetts, HPR is undergoing exponential growth as we expand our existing product lines and develop the next generation of HPR products, building upon an already highly profitable company.As an Applications Engineer II, APAC at HPR, you will:Develop expert level technical competence in HPR's cutting edge product portfolioProvide world-class customer service by resolving technically complex problemsLeverage your strong communication, troubleshooting, and technical skills to interface with customersDrive best practices and lessons learned from evaluations/benchmarks and customer interactions back to product development and other application engineersDevelop and deliver training/education to customersRespond to customer inquiries via phone, email and webEngage and immerse yourself with the engineering team to expedite problem resolution and deliver the highest levels of customer service and satisfactionRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar field2+ years supporting business critical applicationsStrong verbal and written communications skillsAbility and initiative to complete tasks and solve problems autonomouslyExperience with Python and Shell scriptingProficient understanding of networking technologies and protocols (TCP, switch configuration, routing)Desired Qualifications:Familiarity with C and Python programmingExperience with Jira/ConfluencePlease note: HPR currently does not provide employment sponsorshipCreate a Job AlertInterested in building your career at HPR?
