Product Applications EngineerLocation: Melbourne or SydneyResponsibilities:The role of this position is primarily to develop, debug and put system solution to production.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:Board level circuit design and implementationFirmware and host API developmentDevelop characterization plan and implement evaluation/test systemWork with vendors on putting design to productDebugging issuesCustomer supportMaintain and Develop strong relationships with customers and actively identify and pursue new opportunitiesMinimum Qualifications:MSEE in EE or related majorsExperienced inBoard level mixed signal circuit designFirmware development based on C/CppEvaluating circuit performanceSolid problem-solving and trouble-shooting skillsFamiliar with common instruments such as spectrum analyzer, signal source and oscilloscopeInquisitiveness and curiosity to learn, creative thinking and problem solvingSelf-motivated, team player and good communication skillsAbility to work under pressure with strong results-driven mindsetExperiences in below are considered a plusSimulation/algorithm development tools (matlab, R, )High level languages (python, javascript)Willingness to travel on short notice For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
