Product Applications Engineer

Location: Melbourne or Sydney

Responsibilities:

The role of this position is primarily to develop, debug and put system solution to production. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Board level circuit design and implementation
• Firmware and host API development
• Develop characterization plan and implement evaluation/test system
• Work with vendors on putting design to product
• Debugging issues
• Customer support
• Maintain and Develop strong relationships with customers and actively identify and pursue new opportunities
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• MSEE in EE or related majors
• Experienced in
  • Board level mixed signal circuit design
  • Firmware development based on C/Cpp
  • Evaluating circuit performance
• Solid problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
• Familiar with common instruments such as spectrum analyzer, signal source and oscilloscope
• Inquisitiveness and curiosity to learn, creative thinking and problem solving
• Self-motivated, team player and good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with strong results-driven mindset
  
  

Experiences in below are considered a plus

• Simulation/algorithm development tools (matlab, R, …)
• High level languages (python, javascript)
• Willingness to travel on short notice
