**Your New Career**
We an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Experience Team. Our Customer Experience Team consists of the Customer Service Officers and Customer Request Officers and exist to help support and assist our community by providing courteous, efficient and professional customer service across a range of platforms.
Our Customer Experience Team are renowned for their in-depth knowledge of council services, and ability to provide customers with a memorable and genuine customer experience.
**About the Role**
We currently have a permanent part time role available in our Customer Request team and are searching for a passionate person who wants to make a difference by supporting our growing community through providing quality customer service.
This role will see you ensure all Customer Service Requests that are received by Council are accurately entered into Council's Customer Request Management (CRM) System within specified timeframes, and advice is provided back to the Customer.
**Mandatory Requirements (Skills & Experience)**
- Minimum three years demonstrated experience within a customer service environment
- Experience in the performance of high quality administration.
- Proficient in the use and operation the Microsoft Office suites and all office equipment.
- A current WWCC.
- Police Check results that are suitable for this position (will be arranged by Surf Coast Shire Council). A complete international criminal history check is required if the person has worked or lived overseas for any period of time OR a complete national criminal history check is required if the person has only ever worked in Australia.
- A strong cultural fit with the Surf Coast Shire Council's Purpose, Direction and Approach.
**Desirable Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience in a Local Government environment.
- Certificate III or IV in Customer Service/Business/Government would be an advantage.
- Previous experience with Customer Request Management (CRM) systems and Live Chat.
