We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Cost Planner who is ready to further develop their career as part of our New Business team.
Cost Planners at Multiplex play a significant part in securing new project opportunities for the QLD business.
Working across high-profile, large-scale construction projects, you will join an experienced team that understands the importance of a collaborative, focused and results-driven working environment.
The role involves reviewing and preparing accurate estimates and cost plans, as well as managing and assessing design options and value management initiatives.
It also includes building and maintaining strong relationships with the bid teams, subcontractors and clients, participating in post-tender negotiations, and staying informed about market influences and trends.
Additionally, the position requires identifying key design risks or opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar, along with experience in a Cost Planning or Estimating role within the building industry.
They will be comfortable and confident collaborating with the wider project teams along with subcontractors on various design cost and precontract details.
We also require proficiency with Estimating software (here we use CostX).
