Senior Financial Planner

This is a challenging opportunity to join our team as a Senior Financial Planner. As the Cost Planner, you will play a crucial role in the project's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed cost plans, estimates, and budgets that support informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare accurate and timely cost reports and provide regular financial updates to project management.
- Identify and evaluate potential cost risks and opportunities, and implement strategies to mitigate or capitalize on them.
- Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure best value for money.
- Work closely with the project team, designers, and other key stakeholders to deliver the project within budget and on time.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in cost planning and management on large-scale construction projects.
- Experience working with Tier 1 or large Tier 2 construction companies.
- Strong understanding of the Australian construction market.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in cost planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
