Reporting to the Assistant Manager & Director of Housekeeping, this role is responsible for leading a large team of Room Attendants, Public Area team members and Supervisors to success by facilitating coaching and training across operational standards, service excellence, as well as health, safety & compliance in cleaning duties.You'll have a strong knowledge of what good looks like within a luxury environment and will be key to delivering the service standards and expectations set by the Hotel Management team, ensuring that work completed by the housekeeping department achieves consistently positive guest satisfaction scores and feedback.
This role plays a large part in the ongoing development of team members, where you'll share feedback with team members to uplift capability and standards, address concerns and feedback provided by guests, conduct investigations and execute action plans to close gaps.Some of the key responsibilities will involve:Delivering and facilitating training in-line with Crown service and hotel standards to meet guest expectationsMaintaining standards and operational excellence through ongoing coaching and development of teamCommunicating and collaborating with other hotel departments and broader business units (recruitment, workforce planning, learning & development, people and culture etc)Driving and embedding a service-oriented culture from onboarding and throughout the employee lifecycleExecuting training and monitoring training records, whilst tracking progress and performance of the teamCompleting daily audits and quality control via inspections of assigned rooms, corridors and service areasProviding regular briefings to the leadership team and senior management on housekeeping activity and training calendarsAssisting with recruitment, rostering, onboarding and performance management of team membersYou'll have: Demonstrated experience in a similar role, within a fast-paced hotel environment (luxury background is preferred)Working experience within a premium environment, with knowledge of luxury operations and expectationsProven ability in training and developing Hotel Housekeeping employees or similar operational teamsExcellent customer service skills with ability to resolve customer grievances promptly and to a high standardStrong team leadership experience and ability to coach, guide and mentor staff members to succeedStrong communication, organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environmentKnowledge of WHS requirements to provide a safe work environment, with focus on compliance and best practiceKnowledge of Hotel Property Management Systems (OPERA) and Microsoft Office suite of products is advantageousWhat we offer you: Opportunity to make a difference and have impact, working alongside an excellent leadership teamChance to develop your career in Housekeeping within an iconic luxury brandComplimentary meals at our on-site staff restaurant (variety of hot foods, salad + sandwich bar, fruit and pastries)Generous discounts across Crown hotels Australia wide, as well as our restaurants and barsA tailored uniform, that's washed and laundered free for every shift by our on-site wardrobe teamOpportunity to take part and be rewarded in Crown's group-wide recognition and awards programAbility to be an active member and contribute to Crown's community, diversity & inclusion committeesAccess to discounts with various corporate partners across insurance, heath & wellbeing, fashion, banking & finance, technology, parking and moreAdditional InformationWhat you can expect from usOn top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
