About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and driven Maintenance Superintendent to lead frontline equipment support and oversee the execution of planned maintenance activities across our fleet of automated straddle carriers, Ship to Shore cranes, and Automated rail cranes along with other allied infrastructures
Reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, you will:
Lead a team of skilled Contractors and Maintenance Supervisors to deliver timely diagnostics, corrective and planned maintenance.
Manage contractor performance, ensuring quality, productivity, and compliance with safety standards
Drive equipment reliability and asset integrity through structured planning and continuous improvement
Champion a strong safety culture, aligning with Patrick's HSE Management System
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including planners, engineers, and facility managers to ensure seamless maintenance execution
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all maintenance activities meet HSE policies and procedures
Coach and develop contractor leaders to foster Safety, productivity and accountability
Execute maintenance plans with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and cost control
Conduct audits, inspections, and performance reviews to maintain high standards
Lead cultural change initiatives and support team development through training and mentoring
What You'll Bring
Trade qualification or Engineering / advanced qualification with practical experience.
5–7 years' experience in maintenance management, planning and execution
3–5 years' experience leading large teams of technicians or tradespeople
Proven ability to manage contractors and drive performance outcomes
Familiarity with heavy mobile equipment and automated plant
Experience in complex industrial environments with a focus on culture change
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word) and experience with CMMS systems (Maximo preferred)
Eligibility to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
