Overview
Based at Bentley Campus, Curtin University is seeking a dynamic place activation professional to join the Communications and Engagement team on a 12-month parental leave cover.
The role focuses on developing and delivering events and activations to make the campus a vibrant hub of creativity and connection.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver the Place Activation Strategy from idea generation through research, creative development, and project delivery, in support of the Manager, Communications and Engagement.
Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and external networks to maximise exposure to valuable opportunities.
Collaborate with diverse teams including faculty members, external consultants, and agencies to bring creative ideas to life.
Use data-driven insights to evaluate and improve activation programs.
Manage a diverse portfolio of projects in a supportive and dynamic team environment.
Selection Criteria
Strong project management experience, ideally with a track record of delivering successful and engaging events.
Completion of a relevant degree and/or training.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities efficiently.
A creative mindset with the ability to develop unique and memorable experiences.
Ability to work flexibly, including outside regular office hours when needed.
Role Requirements
Australian working rights that match the tenure of this role.
Willing to undertake a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction.
