We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Meaningful Activity Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents by providing engaging and meaningful daily activities.

About the Role

  • Partner with residents to develop and implement person-centred activity plans that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.\
  • Work closely with the allied health team to support residents in maintaining their functional abilities and encouraging them to use and develop their skills in ways that are personally meaningful.\
  • Provide person-centred support during therapeutic activities and ensure all practices are safe and comply with Work Health and Safety policies.\
  • Encourage and support family involvement in the daily life of their loved one.\
  • Contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive work environment that values employee well-being and fosters opportunities for growth and development.\
  • Participate in ongoing learning and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in delivering high-quality care and services.\
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve organisational goals and objectives.\\

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.\
  • Ability to connect meaningfully with residents and their families to support person-centred care.\
  • Desirable: Certificate III in Allied Health or related qualification.\\
