Energy Provider client seeking a Mid - Senior level Dopcument Controller to join their friendly team in Kewdale to hit the ground running

**Document Controller**

Our Energy Provider client is currently working on multiple high-volume Projects and seeking a Mid - Senior level Document Controller to join their friendly team in Kewdale to hit the ground running. This is initially 3-month assignment with the potential to extend or become permanent for the right person.

Working hours: Full time Hours (Monday - Friday)

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: Depending on experience

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Work in close collaboration with the project team to support the management of project deliverables.
- Responsible for the registration, distribution and disposition of project documentation in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
- Entering & updating electronic copies of internally produced data and vendor data into in the electronic document management systems
- Allocating and controlling the numbering of documents and drawings
- Create and implement document templates, in accordance with brand guidelines, project, contract, business and technical requirements,
- Ensure document templates are available and used correctly including setting up workflow templates, approvers and assign users to workflow steps.
- Contribute to system and process reviews, including audits, to monitor and report on compliance and to take action to address any issues identified.
- Coordinate corporate risk register, updating as required.
- Prepare and process records for scanning in support of engineering / construction / commissioning activities
- Provide support, guidance and governance to the External Contractors document control teams
- Provide internal support and coaching on document management systems and processes
- Explore and offer solutions to project information management issues and challenges

**Experience Required**
- Must have between 3 - 5 years' experience in Doc Control Role within an engineering / Construction / Mining environment
- Experience working with technical and design information
- Professional qualifications related to information management/document control will be highly regarded
- Confidence to take charge and implement new processes to streamline the way the team work
- Experience using completions and commissioning database systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an overriding commitment to safety
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Reliability, accountability and good judgement
