**A bit about the role**

An opportunity has arisen for a Client Support Officer to join our Intake and Admissions team on a permanent full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively onsite and who wishes to further develop their knowledge and skills in the Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) space. If you wake up in the morning with a positive mindset, an eagerness to do good and make a meaningful contribution within a purposeful organisation, then we want to hear from you.

In this role, the successful applicant will be a welcoming entry point to visitors and potential clients of the service whilst supporting the operations of the Intake and Admissions team for Therapeutic Community services and Withdrawal Services. Be involved with all of our intake procedures, from the initial enquiry through to supporting admissions staff on site and therefore make a positive impact in people's lives.

The Client Support Officer provides high-quality customer service in a manner that is sensitive to the needs of our communities. This role involves the appropriate and comprehensive screening and referral to those accessing both general and or specific Windana Services.

**You may be the one we are looking for if you have**:

- Previous experience working collaboratively with clients with substance abuse issues and complicating comorbidities such as mental health, physical health, or forensic issues
- Demonstrated experience in working with people with complex needs, including alcohol and other drug issues, mental health and diversity
- Cert IV of Alcohol and other drug studies or
- Completion of other qualifications in a related field

**A bit about our Central Intake program**

Central Intake provides a single access point for persons seeking to access the AOD withdrawal support and Rehabilitation Services that Windana provides.

Windana acknowledges that service navigation support plays a key part in people receiving assistance. The central intake team's role is to help people understand the differing services within Windana, the processes required to access them and therefore elevate the client's experience by supporting them through this journey.
