Job Summary
We are seeking a Supply Officer to join our team in a dynamic hospital environment. As a key member of the supply and procurement team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the receipt and storage of medical goods, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Work closely with hospital unit managers to manage imprest levels and ensure that all areas of the hospital have access to the necessary supplies.
Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, external suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Maintain safety standards and adhere to guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Previous supply experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Experience in a computerised inventory management system (i.e. Technology One).
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
Ability to demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscope's policies and processes.
